The 9th Asian World International Film Festival concluded successfully

Recently, the 9th Asian International Film Festival (AWFF) came to a successful conclusion in Los Angeles, USA. It is reported that the Asian International Film Festival aims to showcase outstanding Asian film works to the international mainstream film circle. Since the inception of the film festival, more than 50 Asian countries, including China, Japan, South Korea, Russia, India, and Turkey, have participated in the selection of the Asian International Film Festival. Hollywood legendary Chinese movie star Lu Yan was invited to attend the event.

In November this year, the film festival held a grand opening and closing ceremony, as well as a ten-day film screening event, presenting a series of eye-catching film works and also launching many high-quality works by emerging filmmakers. On the day of the opening ceremony, many well-known Hollywood Chinese filmmakers attended, including the 86-year-old legendary Chinese Hollywood star Lu Yan. Zhang Xue, one of the founders of Yue Ling International Media, as well as its composer Cheng Ming and young composer Li Tuo were invited to attend the opening, closing and dinner events of the Asia International Film Festival.

Zhang Xue, the founder of a media company, a producer and an artist career planner, said that in previous years we promoted emerging filmmakers to participate in film festival activities. This year, Yue Ling International Media was fortunate to be invited to participate as one of the supporting units of the film festival. It was a great honor to participate in the film festival and be interviewed by local media. At the same time, Cheng Ming, a senior composer in the film, television and music industries, said that although he was unable to participate in the Asian International Film Festival due to special circumstances in the past few years, he has been participating in the Asian International Film Festival for the first time since 2017. After being shortlisted for Best Composer for the movie "Jaeger", I have been paying attention to the development of the film festival. I am very honored to attend the event as one of the invited guests this year. At the same time, we have seen the booming development of Asian movies after the epidemic, including the important position of Chinese martial arts movies in Hollywood.

In addition, to highlight Asian film talents, Asian art, ideas and the spread of cross-cultural themes, this year's Asian Film Festival also held a variety of activities, screenings and dinners. Li Tuo, a young composer from Yue Ling International Media Company, was honored to participate in its dinner event. Li Tuo believes that as a young composer who is new to the film industry, being invited to attend such an international film festival is completely unexpected. At the same time, he said that being able to participate in various activities and dinners at the film festival not only broadened his horizons, but also benefited him a lot as an artist. While having in-depth exchanges with well-known filmmakers, producers and musicians from various industries in Hollywood, I also improved my knowledge of film and television soundtracks.

Finally, Zhang Xue expressed the hope that the Asia International Film Festival can host more Asian films and shine in Hollywood, which will not only improve the status of Chinese films on the international stage, but also expose more Asian cultures to Western vision.
